Meet Founder and Grief Coach, Kat

Kat Farace founder of Balance in Grief, has extensive personnel and professional experience in grief. From age 11-30 Kat had already experienced the loss of 14 loved ones including her parents and grandparents. Kat later began a career as a Bereavement Counselor with the largest Hospice Company in the nation. She acquired her certification in Grief Counseling and MBSR Practitioner, developed programs, curriculums and she is the architect of the Five Prospects for grief, helping thousands of terminally ill patients and their families over her 25 year career. Kat provided one on one counseling, family counseling, support groups and mentored several Bereavement Coordinators within her reginal area.

Kat is also the author of Grief the Teacher – The Teacher Nobody Wanted with the Lessons Only Love and Loss Can Teach and hosts the YouTube channel BIG Grief Questions. She is the architect of the Five Prospects of Grief, outlined in her book, which has supported thousands of bereaved.

It is this experience that inspired Kat to a grief coach support to grief work. While extensive counseling can be of service and in some cases required, most people like you need immediate attention to immediate needs, with practical advice and proven techniques to get you through the day and on a path to creating a new normal that feels more comfortable and find a sense of peace and balance in your grief work.

It is possible. It is possible for you.
